Hyperextension Interatletika HL009

Hyperextension ST063 is one of the most effective bodyweight trainers available on the modern market. Despite its simple design, it has no equal when it comes to training the back muscles (especially the lumbar region), legs, and even abdominal muscles.

The frame of the trainer is made of high-strength metal, additionally coated with a layer of paint that protects it from mechanical impact and extends the lifespan of the hyperextension bench. Special foot pads prevent slipping and provide maximum stability.

The foldable design of the hyperextension allows minimizing the space taken up by the trainer when not in use, while the ability to adjust the bench length makes it truly versatile and ideal for home use.

Maximum comfort during use is ensured by special soft, wear-resistant cushions and foot support coverings.

Effective and beneficial hyperextension workouts

Hyperextension is one of the best exercises for quickly developing and strengthening the lower back muscles. To make this technique work as effectively as possible, exercises should be performed following the recommended rules.

Which muscles are involved?

Many mistakenly assume that the main load falls on the glutes. However, this equipment primarily trains the hamstrings and lower back. Additionally, short spinal muscles, which typically aren’t involved in many other exercises, are also engaged in the process.

It is worth buying this equipment for effective training of muscles worked during exercises such as:

  • Calf muscles;
  • Biceps femoris;
  • Semimembranosus muscle of the thigh;
  • Gluteus maximus;
  • Semitendinosus muscle of the thigh.

Positive results will be achieved when exercises are performed correctly. Additionally, workouts should be regular — typically 3-4 times a week.

How to perform the exercise?

The technique of this exercise is quite simple. First, adjust the trainer according to your height. The front rollers should be positioned exactly at the hip and lower back joint. The lower rollers should remain above the Achilles tendon. After the trainer is properly adjusted to the athlete's figure, you can start training.

To begin the exercise, tense the glutes and lie across the trainer at the lumbar area. Lean your torso downward at an angle of at least 60 degrees. Then slightly round your back. Next, cross your arms over your chest and smoothly, without jerking, return to the starting position. You should lift your torso upward so that it forms a straight line with your legs. Hold this position for a second and repeat the cycle. Regarding breathing: inhale while lowering, exhale while lifting.

Hyperextension for the spine and back is an excellent prevention of various diseases, as well as a way to strengthen your muscle system. In the future, it is also an opportunity to achieve a toned figure without an annoying belly. This is the magic of hyperextension. You can buy such a trainer in Kyiv at the "Inter Atletika" store to start exercising at home.
